The carré d’or, on foot

The carré d’or in Cannes is crossed faster than you would think. From the Croisette you walk up, turn once, and rue Florian is there.

It is a quarter made for walking, and better on foot. Cars lose time there; people on foot gain it.

For those who drive anyway: the valet is there Thursday to Sunday, on rue du Commandant André. The rest of the week, park and walk. It is no punishment.
