A place with a history · told again in every plate.

From the old village to the chemin des Conquettes

Salama opened in 1999, in the old village of Saint-Tropez. Frédérique and Fabrice Dorel started a Moroccan table there. The house later moved to rue des Tisserands, near the port, and settled into the habits of the town.

Sold in 2016, it went quiet for two years. Then it reopened elsewhere: on chemin des Conquettes, two minutes from the place des Lices. Arches, zellige, hand-cut lanterns, a garden where you dine as in a riad. Cannes followed.

Today, you come for the méchoui couscous, the pastilla, the cocktails, and for a rare feeling: that of somewhere far away, two steps from the Place des Lices.
