Moroccan cuisinein Saint-Tropez and Cannes
Two houses on the French Riviera. Couscous, tagines, pastilla, made in house every evening.
01 / The house
A Moroccan table on the Riviera. Two addresses, one kitchen, made by hand every day.
Salama opened in 1999 in the old village of Saint-Tropez. Today the house sits on chemin des Conquettes, two minutes from the place des Lices, with a second address on rue Florian, in the carré d’or of Cannes.
The place, the table, the room and the evening

01
The garden
You come in through the plants. Tables under the trees, green zellige, stone underfoot still holding the day’s heat. The noise of the town stops at the door.

02
The table
Starters land in the middle and everyone reaches. Semolina rolled by hand, tagines that have taken their time, marinated meat off the grill. Nothing here is eaten alone.

03
The room
Whitewashed arches, niches cut into the plaster, pottery set out like a still life. Light passes through the cut-metal lanterns and draws itself on the wall.

04
The evening
Two services a night. The first goes gently, the second lifts: the lanterns come on, the bar fills, the room finds its rhythm.
02 / Signature dishes

What we are asked most
Salama has two addresses on the French Riviera. In Saint-Tropez, at 1 chemin des Conquettes, two minutes from the place des Lices. In Cannes, at 10 rue Florian, in the carré d’or, metres from the Croisette.
By phone, at both houses: +33 4 94 96 52 93 for Saint-Tropez, +33 4 93 68 51 69 for Cannes. Someone answers, notes the occasion and keeps the right table. In season, call a few days ahead.
Moroccan and Mediterranean cooking, made in house. Couscous, tagines, pastilla, mezze and marinated meat off the grill, plus a list of signature cocktails at the bar.
Each house serves twice a night. Saint-Tropez: 8:00pm and 10:30pm, every evening. Cannes: 7:30pm and 10:00pm, every day.
No, the menus differ. Cannes has a harira and a summer-truffle tarama that Saint-Tropez does not; Saint-Tropez serves Aquitaine caviar and La Mourouzia. Couscous, tagines and pastilla are on both.
Since 1999, when it opened in the old village of Saint-Tropez. The house changed hands in 2016, then reopened on chemin des Conquettes after a two-year pause. Cannes came later.
